An interesting report surfaced this morning about betting on the Super Bowl this Sunday. To wit: Las Vegas expects to take in $100 million in wagering on the event. However, all other forms of gambling on the bowl–all illegal–are expected to rake in $ 8 billion.
As much as Ol’ Ben Franklin and his Poor Richard may have railed against proflicacy, I’ll wager that Ben wouldn’t be able to resist a Super Bowl bet, just like 100 or so million other Americans.
