So the media have concluded. The Los Angeles Times, bless their ignorant little liberal lack of brains, has endorsed the United Nations’ view that global warming is irreversible–but can be slowed.
Gag, gasp, choke. Where is the proof that there even is such a thing as global warming? Last I checked (yesterday) parts of the planet are now milder warmer than they were a century ago and parts are mildly cooler, with no pattern prevailing globally.  If the debate is over (Times‘ headline:  ”Game over on global warming?”), how come the planet was warmer in the Middle Ages and even warmer than that when the Vikings discovered Greenland, only to be displaced two centuries later by an ice age (caused by global warming, right? haha).
If you want a good throw-up, read “Game Over.” Reading it reminded me of going to a fortune teller who advises: “Bury a kitchen knive in the backyard, light candles every night over the ashes of your grandmother, buy this trinket from me and wear it always, and you’ll solve your financial problems within 60 days. And by the way, that will be $300 for our session.” The only difference is the Times doesn’t charge $300, which is good because the fortune teller makes more sense than it does.
